Blueberry Cheesecake Protein Shake
Cason and I have always struggled with quick breakfast ideas. Both of us love to cook but for some reason that love never kicks in at 7 am. The idea of even scrambling an egg annoys me. (Random fact about me- I’m not a morning person.) That’s why when I stumbled across Dashing Dish shake recipes, I was in breakfast heaven! Cason and I have made all of them (about 20 times) and each one is AMAZING. They call for some strange things like cottage cheese but trust me, the result will blow your mind. One of the great things about Dashing Dish recipes are that a lot of her recipes are similar. So when you’re buying ingredients like xanthan gum, it’s not a waste of money because all of her shakes call for it. It was hard to pick a favorite but we’ve been on a blueberry cheesecake kick lately so I thought I’d share it with y’all!
Blueberry Cheesecake Protein Shake
:: 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese
:: 1 scoop vanilla or plain protein powder
:: 2 packets of Stevia
:: 5-10 ice cubes
:: 1/2 cup water
:: 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
:: 1 tbsp sugar-free instant cheesecake pudding mix
:: pinch of xanthan gum (this makes your shake more thick and creamy)
Place all ingredients into blender and blend until creamy! The ingredients listed above are for one shake.
